Peak Wind Season Starting - Wednesday, January 20, 2010Our best and warmest wind and water is just around the corner. 3-4 windy days per week coming up until May. Learn With The Latest 2010 Gear! - Thursday, October 15, 2009South Florida Kiteboarding is now teaching with brand new 2010 Cabrinha Switchblade and Convert IDS kites, along with the latest Rival, Plasma, Prodigy and Caliber boards. The 2010 kites offer the best of both the classic "C" shape kites and the safety and depower features of a newer style "bow" kite. New for 2010 is a simplified bar setup, more convinient instant depower features and easier water relaunch. We also offer lessons on Slingshot and Best bow style kites or just bring your kite and we will teach you to fly. Lesson packages include all equipment, if you prefer not to bring your own gear.

Crandon Park North Beach Now Open to Kiteboarding - Friday, September 11, 2009South Florida Kiteboarding and our franchise affiliate, Miami Kiteboarding, are proud to announce that our Crandon Park concession is once again open to kiteboarding for the October to May windy season. This world class location has specific rules which which will be strictly enforced by a full time on-site administrator. Note that unless you are taking lessons with our school, you need IKO level 3 or equivalent certification and insurance to ride at Crandon Park. Miami Kiteboarding Masters and Kite For Girls 2009 Event - Thursday, May 07, 2009Southfloridakiteboarding.com and our franchise affiliate Miami Kiteboarding is proud to sponsor and host the annual Miami Kiteboarding Masters and Kite For Girls event on Saturday, May 16th, 2009 and Sunday, May 17th, at Crandon Park North Beach, Key Biscayne.
The one day event is a gathering of the men's and women's kiteboarding community in Miami and South Florida. The goal of the event is to show the accessibility of the sport of Kiteboarding. The Cable Park is an aerial cable which pulls you around a freshwater lake. The Cable simulates kiteboarding like nothing else on the planet.
